2009 RC The Christmas Plate Series Christmas Plate

The 2009 Christmas plate, “Christmas at Amagertorv”, shows one of the best preserved and oldest houses in inner Copenhagen. On this year’s plate, in front of the beautiful snow-clad building one sees busy Christmas shoppers, with large packages in hand, trying to wind up their Christmas shopping. Also visible is the decorative Stork fountain, which has been part of the beautiful setting at Amagertorv since 1894 and has made the square a favourite spot for Copenhageners and tourists alike.
