The motif of the 2023 advent candle is based on Jette Frölich’s nostalgic Christmas universe and features two window sections, one with a girl entering the bakery through the door, and the other with a boy, standing outside curiously peeking through the window. Between the two beautifully decorated windows, the numbers 1-24 travel down the candle. The motif universe on the advent candle is a variation of the motifs that adorn the entire Holmegaard Christmas 2023 series. The motifs are based on reflections on the magic of Christmas, and beautifully convey children’s love of Christmas and the sense of anticipation for the big day.
