Holmegaard Christmas Biscuit Jar 2021

For Jette Frölich, the motif for this year’s Holmegaard Christmas collection began as a reflection about the Nordic countries: What is it that makes the Nordic Christmas so special? She decided that it has to do with our rough and rugged yet spectacular nature, which regularly turns into a magical snow-clad painting that sparks a joy of anticipation.  It is precisely that joy and expectation that inspires Frölich to reflect year after year. This year, the process resulted in a beautifully illustrated Christmas collection from Holmegaard, the motif on which is based on Norway’s traditional stave churches and the nature they rise out of.
