We want you to be completely delighted with your treasures from Denmark. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Policy
We gladly accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of your receipt of the package. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be:
- In the same condition as when you received it
- In the original packaging
- Unused and unworn (if applicable)
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
- Annual Collectibles (including Bing & Grøndahl plates and figurines)
- Back Issue Collectibles
- Christmas Plates (particularly those from specific years)
- Books, Music, and Children’s Books (unless damaged or defective)
- Candles (for safety and hygiene reasons)
- Christmas Mugs, Napkins & Cards (unless in unopened original packaging)
- Any item marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To start the return or exchange process, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange.
- Our team will review your request and email you within 2 business days with instructions and a Return Authorization Number.
- Once approved, carefully package the item(s) in the original packaging and include all documentation.
- Ship the package to our returns address (provided in your authorization email) using a trackable shipping service.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (such as shipping the wrong item or a defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refund Timeline and Method
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival at our facility), we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items for a different size or color, subject to availability. If you need to exchange an item, please follow the return process above, indicating that you would like an exchange rather than a refund. We will ship the replacement item once we receive and process your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid shipping label if needed.
